Introducing Claude AI x Zapier MCP 🚀 You can now equip Claude with Zapier's library of over 8,000 apps and 30,000+ pre-built actions—no need to build integrations for every app you want to connect! And with Zapier MCP, you can trust that your connections are secure and reliable too. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) creates a bridge between your AI tools and everyday apps, letting Claude not just understand what you want, but actually take action. ⚡ Here are five powerful ways to use Claude with Zapier MCP: 1️⃣ Sales Account Lookup: Tell Claude "I have a meeting with XYZ prospect coming up, what's been going on with the account?" and have it pull the latest information from HubSpot, giving you crucial context before your call. 2️⃣ Project Management: Have Claude create tasks in Jira, Asana, or Monday, update ticket statuses, assign work items to team members, and keep your project tracking tools in sync with your conversations—all without switching contexts. 3️⃣ Morning Briefing: Ask Claude to check your calendar for today's events, prepare summaries of upcoming meetings, and send you a daily dossier with all the context you need to start your day prepared. 4️⃣ Spreadsheet Management: Have Claude update your Google Sheets or Airtable databases with new information, add rows of data, or find specific entries—all through natural language requests. 5️⃣ Email Assistant: Ask Claude to write and send emails with the perfect tone, automatically following up with clients or sending team updates without leaving your conversation. Before MCP, connecting AI tools to your favorite apps was a headache. Now, you can skip the technical hurdles and give Claude a universal remote control to all of the actions in Zapier's ecosystem. Try it out today, and let us know what you think: https://lnkd.in/gTYKvK8t

I help small team leaders with "AI-First" workflow || Sharing optimistic view how to build smarter, work faster, and live better—with AI || Building in Public || Vibe-coder

Zapier dropped their internal framework for measuring "AI-First" culture across different roles. This isn't just corporate policy—it's a roadmap for where every knowledge worker is heading. Here's what caught my attention: 👉 The gap between "Capable" and "Transformative" is massive. Most people think they're doing well with AI because they use ChatGPT for email drafts or code snippets. But look at the Transformative column—that's a completely different league. ✅ For Engineers: Moving from "uses ChatGPT for simple tasks" to "builds AI-first dev pipelines that cut PR cycle time" ✅ For Product: Moving from "drafts PRDs with AI" to "drives org-wide AI roadmap through eval-first development" ✅ For Support: Moving from "summarizes tickets" to "creates ROI dashboards balancing cost vs. customer experience" ✅ For Marketing: Moving from "drafts social posts" to "builds AI-driven campaign engines that personalize at scale" The pattern is clear: Capable = using AI as a tool. Transformative = thinking in AI-native workflows. This reinforced something I've been seeing in my newsletter community: The biggest AI wins aren't about better prompts—they're about reimagining entire processes around AI capabilities. Three questions this framework raises: 1️⃣ Where are you on this spectrum? Most honest assessment: probably somewhere between Capable and Adoptive or not? 2️⃣ What would "Transformative" look like in your specific role? This framework only covers 5 roles. What about yours? 3️⃣ How fast is your organization moving up this ladder? Because if they're not, your competition probably is. ‼️ The reality check: We're still early, but the gap between early adopters and everyone else is widening fast. Companies like Zapier aren't just using AI—they're rebuilding their entire operational DNA around it. The question isn't whether this is coming to your workplace. It's whether you'll be ready when it does. What role resonates most with your work? And honestly—which column describes where you are today? Drop your thoughts below 👇 . I'm curious how this framework maps to what you're seeing in your industry.

Zapier | AI Powered Workflows, Agents, Chatbots & More

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time talking with HR and People Ops leaders. One thing’s clear—they’re overwhelmed, but not standing still. From recruiting to onboarding to offboarding, their teams are handling more tools, more workflows, and higher expectations… without more time or headcount. What’s been exciting to see? How fast HR teams are embracing automation and AI to take some of that weight off. A few real examples from recent convos: - Recruiting teams auto-sorting candidates and summarizing resumes with ChatGPT - HR ops generating offer letters and updating internal systems in one click - People teams using AI to scan survey responses for themes—and act on them - Seamless onboarding: Slack, payroll, IT all handled with one Zap These aren’t massive overhauls. They’re small, scrappy wins that give HR teams real breathing room—and a chance to refocus on people, not process. If you’re in HR and curious what’s possible with Zapier, I dropped a link in the comments.

This is how you compound your paid ads: Right now I have about 12 or 14 ads driving people to one of my pricing workshops to provide a free training others would charge for... From there I execute the simple 1on1 relationship building follow up: • enrich leads via Zapier + Clay • and then dive human centric outreach via La Growth Machine where I build a real human relationship (not some spam bs) but here's where things get interesting: If the person Im speaking to (from a cold ad) is qualified... LGM shows me relevant lookalike companies right in my chat so I can expand outreach to other relevant people who may be interested in the training. The old way thinking with paid ads: - drive traffic to a page - optimize for conversions - hope they take action and book a call + spam with 100+ automated email follow ups The new way: - drive traffic - optimize for conversions - layer on human centric outreach to build a real relationship - use tech to auto find new potential relationships in real time - build relationship with those net new finds

Brand partnership Future-proof your brand | 2x Founder, Advisor, Dad

You know I love my newsletter but why is it so hard to get week-over-week metrics? If I want a weekly number or a monthly summary, no problem but if I'm actively trying to see growth from one issue to the next I need a spreadsheet. I need to manually find numbers. I need to type out simple math formulas that take more time to type than it does to do the actual math. Good times! Until now that is because Zapier recently launched their AI Agents and they're awesome! In just a few minutes I built out an agent that automatically: 1. Finds all my newsletters from Beehiiv 2. Pulls the two most recent ones 3. Compares the WoW open rates, clicks, CTR, subscribers, and unsubscribes 4. Does the math! 5. Puts together an easy to read summary 6. Slacks it directly to me every Thursday morning at 9am This saves me a ton of time and creates a feature that I wish was standard in newsletter platforms but isn't. The good news is with an AI Agent I can build it myself. If you want to build your own AI Agents, you gotta check out Zapier. Use my referral link (https://lnkd.in/gcXcwBBR) to get two free weeks and please, please, please let me know what you built. PS this week's issue is all about how companies go from single brand to multi brand and how to clean it up #Sponsored #ZapierAmbassador

From a people & talent lens, we’re seeing the same thing: When AI is used for simple cost-cutting, we're missing the big picture. Automating busy work lets our People team: - Spend more time understanding our customers (fellow Zapiens) - Think big about how to build high-performing teams and design jobs that are actually energizing - Work through a backlog of opportunities that would otherwise never see the light of day We don't always get it right. But AI gives us an entirely new perspective on what's possible. July 9th: I’m doing a live deep dive into our Zapier's AI adoption playbook—the one that helped Zapier build 89% AI adoption. We'll demo real AI and automation use cases for HR, too. AI agents aren’t budget hacks. A reporter was shocked when I said that. But orgs with deep AI adoption don’t see it that way. Aaron Levie said most companies he talks to are “focused on using AI Agents to do more than they did before vs. doing the same and spending less.” That’s exactly what we’re doing at Zapier. More tasks, more work, and higher-quality work. Filling in areas that never would have happened before. Is this how your org is thinking about AI? If not, why?

👋 Hey Marketers, save this guide by Zapier CEO Wade Foster and Recruiting lead Bonnie Dilber on "How Zapier measures AI fluency" for hiring: "Below are a few examples of how Zapier assesses AI fluency by role. Please note that these are not requirements or ‘boxes to be checked’. These are quick examples of the skill types we’re assessing to see where an applicant is on their AI journey. We map skills across 4 levels: Unacceptable, Capable, Adoptive, and Transformative. 1️⃣ Unacceptable: Resistant to AI tools and skeptical of their value. 2️⃣ Capable: Using the most popular tools. Likely under 3 months of hands-on experience 3️⃣ Adoptive: Embedding AI in personal workflows. Tuning prompts, chaining models, and automating tasks to boost efficiency. 4️⃣ Transformative: Uses AI not just as a tool, but to rethink strategy and deliver user-facing value that wasn’t possible two years ago These are evaluated through screenings, async exercises, and live interviews. Signals compound across stages. If you’re curious, here are some real questions we’ve asked in interviews: MARKETING - How is AI changing how you plan or execute campaigns? - How do you use AI to personalize messaging, generate content, or analyze performance? PEOPLE - Can you share an example of how you use AI in your daily work? - Can you share an example of a process or program you’ve built using AI? (Why AI, how does it work, tooling, outcomes, how you think about ROI?) PRODUCT - How is AI impacting SaaS? - Give an example of a time you used AI in a product feature. Did it improve with a better/faster/cheaper model? A few more things to note: 👉 None of this is gospel. The best way to improve is to try things, collect data, then improve. The bar will keep rising. 👉 AI skills vary and are heavily role-specific. These are not the only acceptable answers, just the ones we could fit in the table. 👉 Engineering ≠ Marketing ≠ Support. Context matters. Requirements vary. I’ll continue to share what we’re learning as we refine what AI fluency means at Zapier. In the meantime, we’re hiring across a variety of roles. Excited to meet you." -- 👋 P.S. Tag a marketer who should see this Make sure you give Wade and Bonnie a follow btw!
